I miss taiwan.

I was pretty random just now to look through the pictures in my laptop.
There were lots of fond memories and flashbacks when I was scrutinising them one by one.
I could even recall who said what and whoever did what before and after the pictures were taken.
Frankly speaking, the pictures taken during our Taiwan trip took much of my laptop's spaces. So allow me to recall and do a proper entry(for memories purpose) of our Taiwan trip before I delete them off.
Yeah. Childhood Resort Hotel was the hotel we stayed for the first few days in Chiayi. And the accomodation and food was all sponcered by the management of the chiayi band festival. All I must say their hospitality was really good.
Not forgetting, the purpose of going Taiwan was to represent Singapore to take part in this Chiayi performance. There were other bands from Thailand, etc... And like I mentioned the food was provided and it was not that bad.
Did I mentioned that Taiwan is really big? Going from Chiayi to Tainan is like taking bus to and for from Bedok to Woodlands four times. But thankfully there were intervals during such long rides and the bandits went haunting for snacks.

Seriously, the first few days of our taiwan trip was boring. We were bought to several places which sells incense, gifts and their local products. It was boring because we were all looking forward to going to the capital.

soon we had our performance at Chiayi. That was it, it's time for us to rock and roll as the rest of our days were free and easy. Actually not that free and not that easy because the things there werent free but it's quite affordable. And it's never easy to turn down people there when they start bugging you - facial incident!

The 'celebration' at some hotel after the counting down to 2008. The food they served were almost like home-cooked food. Fattening braised pork which I didn't touch at all. eww.

Yay! On the first day of our free and easy, we booked in to the hotel at Taipei. Soon after we booked in, that very night was rush hour. We were patriotic people, we brought our Kiasu attitude to Taiwan! We rushed to XimenDing and shopped like crazy. Unfortunately, it was winter seasons so the outfits sold were all long sleeves and thick coats.
The snacks were awesome.
1. Ah Zhong mian xian.
2. Fermented Beancurd(though I didnt get to try the one here)
3. Sausages very uniquely different from what we have.
4. X-large chicken chop.
5. Oyster with fried egg. (But I prefer local ones)
6. Braised meat with rice aka Lu Rou Fan.(didn't get to try!)
7. Lok lok, little snacks like fishballs, crab meat and to name a few on the bamboo stick.
8. Takopachi (super cheap)
9. Sushi (super cheap)

After which, we went back hotel to recuperate and on the early morning the next day. All chiong to different places.
-Taipei 101 (super boring)
- Wu fen pu
- Dan Shui
-Shiling
and the rest I couldn't remember. Overall, it was a great trip.
Thankfully no one got lost there after being abandoned. *evil laughters*
Alright. that's all. Time to delete the pictures already!
