St Andrew's POP.
Sunday, January 20, 2008

it was a long day today.

day started off pretty awesome.
it was even more awesome when
you wanted to put insert the contact lens into your eyes
and you realised that another layer of _____ of your pupil
flipped up.

i was seriously petrified. I once told myself,
everything is gonna end if I were to be handicapped.
be it lost of hearing, sight, taste. I will jump off
the building just like that.

and i am not going to wear my contact lens on my left
eye. I wont want to see my cornea stuck onto the contact
len when I remove my lens next time.

so to play safe, i think I'm getting myself a specs soon.

oh yeah. let's talk about something less gruesome.

met up with Gabriel this evening to St Andrew's Passing Out
Parade.

it was my first time there.
i must say the schools were too cool.
the junior school, secondary school and junior college school
are combine. and the schools are "St Andrew's Village"

oh, above is the way to the bridge that links the junior school to the secondary
school.

oh yeah, their field. I love their grass.
and I'm sure the grass cost the school a large some of money.
and maintaining the grass cost even more i guess.
and.. and.. and..

standing on attention for the national anthem.
it has been around ten months since I sang.
eh, wait a minute. I didnt sing national anthem
just now, neither did the rest of the people there
did. so patriotic eh.

anyhow, we were told that the st andrew bands were
going to perform in their hall and hence
we make our way there.

and after hearing, I felt that their primary school
sounded like kindergarten band, their secondary school
sounded like primary school band. Nevertheless, i must
take my hat off to the JC and alumni band. It had been
a long time since I sit down for a concert to hear a band
with such nice balance.

I've also heard this year primary school set piece.
And I guess, it's way too difficult for a junior band.
so.. yeah, that's all about today.
