Thoughts.
Sunday, August 19, 2007

In life, there are bound to have circumstances whereby
you can only choose one of the two choices.

Most often then not, you'll be in a dilemma as you are
unsure of what to choose when both options are equally
important to you.

For example, money and love.
Which one will you choose?

Friend or girlfriend/boyfriend?

partner or dignity?
will you rather continue a wonderful relationship
or just because of what others see, what others say and give up the relationship
and JUST TO SAVE DIGNITY?

I spent few hours watching Eternal Summer, a film from HongKong few years back.
I found it quite emotional and touching. For the benefit of the doubts and taking those interested parties who are fond of watching the movie, you can go Crunchyroll and search for this movie.

And alas! if you're a homophobic, then this movie is highly not recommended.

And another thing, before you jump into consideration why out of the sudden did I watch that.
Yeah, maybe you should read Xiaxue's blog regarding her gay encounters... yadda yadda yadda
and yah I happened to know that movie.

(think twice before doubting someone'e sexual orientation)

anyway, the gay part of the movie isn't significant.
I found the movie meaningful is it touchs on certain issues like friendship, life
and so on which is happening in our life.

In retrospect, the lesson I learnt from this movie :

In life, it's bound to have circumstances whereby you are only eligible to
make a choice out of two options which are vitally important to you.
Both choices are of equal weightage, value to you. How do you decide to
make sure what you choose is the most appropriate one?

Don't be afraid to love. Dare to love, dare to display your affections.
It's seriously futile if you just sit down there, stupidly naively hoping for a miracle that the one you love, will love you. Stand up from the crowds, confess your adoration for someone despite
there will be a possibility you won't get to hear what you desire. But hey look, at least you didn't regret letting the person know how you felt of him/her.

Friends(after family) are the most important people in life. Cherish them, not taking taking them for granted. You may be sicked and tired of people hearing this sentence "Cherish them, not taking taking them for granted" but it's irrefutable, sad to say. When you need someone to grieve about certain things or share your happiness with, the person is either your family members or friends. We should respect them for what they are else when you look back on the past, you realised your best-est friend is not longer there. Life would be meaningless then.

Thanks to this movie, I took serious consideration when starting a relationship. (Hahaha if only I watched it earlier) Take your time finding your soulmate and not toying other's feeling.

if your relationship with your partner fails, screw them take it as a lesson learnt. Be optimistic, and tell yourself that, you lost someone who don't even love you but he/she on the other hand, lost someone who truely loves him/her.

All in all, never ever take someone just to use it as a 'false front' for your identity. In other words, love your love ones wholeheartedly and not use them. You won't want it to happen on yourself as well right?

:)

Alright, long-winded post.

It's 404 now, and I have singing class tomorrow at 2!
