SAF band exchange
Thursday, April 05, 2007

BRAVO.

The exchange with the SAF central band was splendid I must say.

The journey to NeeSoon Camp was kinda short and we had lots of fun spraying Jasmine.
Then we were brought around the camp to see how the bands work and the history of the band.

After that, we broke up into different section for sectional. The sectional was productive but it's just a little bit short. If the sectional is extended, I guess we will be able to learn more. But anyway, we learnt a lot regarding breathing, feeling the beats, how to play higher notes easier, how to fake through but you still sound perfect for the pieces and lastly know the importance of playing the first beat and the last beat of the bar.

soon, we were brought backed to the hall to play the three pieces for the central band. It was okay, not much cocked up. Then it was SAF band's turn to play. The only word I can describe the band is awesome! Seriously nice... And we got to combine with them, we were quite nervous but when we played Jupiter together it sounded pretty great. Thanks to the SAF band for covering up, it really sounded very nice.

^^ Skip the lunch part.
Skip the things we did on bus.

Kept our instruments, then we went to causeway point to slack!
weee...

in summary, i think today we had a great day experiencing with how good SAF band is.
