Went back JYSB for the second last rehearsal for their upcoming competition. True enough, the teachers are lazy to the extreme because none of them is going to stay back for the band on Monday.

Like what Ihsan said, the least the teachers can do is allow the band to do their soundcheck and ensure everyone is ready for the competition but can you believe it, none of them want to stay over.

On a lighter note, we got our vice-principal, Mr Kenneth Lee with us all the way until 5.30 to let the band members rehearsal for the very last time on Monday. And he will be going to watch them play on the competition day itself! Great isn't it, at least we have got at least a principal who is willing to spend his time listening to the band.


Let's just pray very hard how they play is gonna sound nice in SCH. Frankly speaking, if I were one of the judges, I'd most probably give them a COP.

Firstly, our french horn isnt up to the band expectation.
Secondly, the brass especially my boneys keep blasting at the last part of the song.

Judges don't enjoy, both the band and the judges suffer.

But wait a minute, they will most probably get a silver in SCH. Because yeah, school music room is fucking small, the sound is trapped in the room so they sound sucky.

Just pray hard... they don't sound like how they sound in the music room, otherwise perfect.
